Rasor families,
We wanted to take the opportunity to share what your Rasor PTA has accomplished thus far in the 2024 - 2025 school year. We are honored to support Rasor students in many different ways throughout the school. Some highlights of our efforts are listed here.
In the 2024-2025 school year, we have:
- Hosted two Saturdays at the Park where Rasor students and families had the opportunity to meet other families and enjoy our neighborhood park.
- Put on the Fall Carnival to raise money to support the PTA's activities while hosting a fun event with fall fun and learning.
- Sold school supplies so that families have easy access to the supplies chosen by their child's teacher
- Sold spirit wear and winter spirit wear to encourage our Rasor spirit and community.
- Sold shirts for both field day and 5th grade camp to encourage Rasor spirit and allow teachers an easy method to identify students at events.
- Hosted spirit nights to raise funds for PTA activities.
- Showed support for our Rasor teachers and staff by:
- Providing dinner on the day of the Fall Open House
- Providing dinner on the day of the Carnival
- Providing a hot cocoa bar in December
- Supported Rasor activities by:
- Providing supplies and snacks for Field Day
- Providing popcorn and candy canes for Polar Express Day
We are looking forward to continuing to support Rasor in the spring through activities like:
- Book Fair, which is organized and run entirely by the PTA and helps provide books to Rasor students, teachers, and library.
- Color Run, where we provide supplies and volunteers
- Yearbook, which is created and organized by the PTA
We cannot continue to do all these things without additional support from our Rasor families! Your $12 allows us to continue the above activities.
